Joseph Light (1829-1913) 

 

Born Wolverhampton 1829, son of Peter and Susannah Light.

Married Sarah White 1874, Parish of Hesketh with Becconsall.

1881 lived Liverpool Road, Skelmersdale.

Children, William (1876-1937), Mary Ann (1875-188), Joseph (1878-1879), Bessy (1881-1882), Susan (1882-1969)

Sarah Light died 1883

Joseph Light became a well respected and successful antique dealer with property in Liverpool Road, Skelmersdale.

Joseph married Nanny Wood of Sandy Lane, Skelmersdale, 1884.

Lived at 17 Liverpool Road, Skelmersdale, property included Ivydene, Liverpool Road.

Nanny Light died 1910
